Malrun: Two thrones
18/06/14 || Lord K Philipson
ViciSolum’s a good label. I always dug those guys and they have some quality releases out there. These Danes are a new acquaintance to me, and I’m not disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not exactly doing somersaults here either, but Malrun’s metal is quite groovy, very modern and their clean vocals don’t fucken suck it either. Then again, Denmark was always a good country for metal. Remember Invocator? Yeah, well… this stuff is produced, mixed, and mastered by former Invocator member Jacob Hansen, so you know the result is good.
If you want some 2014 metal up your ass, you can do way worse than Malrun. I am actually keeping this in my collection. Thank you, ViciSolum.
7,5/10: Swedes do it better, but hey…
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
